Expert Back Pain Physical Therapy in Chicago, IL

At Journey Physical Therapy, you get one-on-one care with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy from your very first visit to your last. No rotating assistants. No shortcuts. Just hands-on manual therapy and personalized exercise designed to find the root cause of your pain—so you can move freely again without relying on painkillers, injections, or surgery. Serving Chicago’s Roscoe Village, Lakeview, and Logan Square neighborhoods.

Still Living with Back Pain in Chicago?

You’ve tried resting, icing, maybe even pain medication—but the pain keeps coming back. For too many Chicago residents, back pain becomes a cycle with no real end in sight.

Generic, Rotating Care

You see a different therapist every visit, repeat your story each time, and never build the continuity that drives real recovery. Progress stalls and frustration grows.

Medications That Mask, Not Fix

Painkillers and injections may dull the sensation, but they don’t address what’s actually causing your back pain. The relief is temporary—and the underlying problem remains.

Surgery Feels Like the Only Option

When pain becomes chronic, surgery starts to feel inevitable. But for many patients, the right hands-on physical therapy can make surgery unnecessary—if you find it in time.

Praneeth treated my daughter for some knee pain she was having. He was really thorough in diagnosis. He spent tons of time with us, making sure he really understood the problem. He gave her exercises to do at home. After about 8 visits, she was in good shape and hasn't had any pain since. Also, he's a super nice and funny guy. We had a great experience.
